The short version

Calculations happen in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator are not sent to our servers and we never store them. We do use analytics to understand which calculators people use, and advertising to pay for the site.

What we collect

Your calculator inputs

Nothing you enter into a calculator is transmitted to or stored by us. Calculations run entirely on your device. Inputs are reflected in the page URL so you can bookmark or share a result — which means if you share that link, the values in it travel with it. Be mindful of that with anything sensitive.

Analytics

We use analytics to see which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which devices they use. This tells us which calculators to improve and which to build next. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not sell it.

Advertising

We show ads supplied by Google and other advertising partners. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites.

You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. Google’s own practices are described in its partner-sites policy.

Local storage

We store two things in your browser, which never reach our servers: your light/dark theme preference, and your cookie-consent choice so we stop asking.

Your consent choices

On your first visit you can accept or reject advertising and analytics cookies. We apply Google Consent Mode, which means that until you accept, Google’s tags run without storing identifiers. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which makes the banner reappear.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — under the GDPR in the UK and EEA, the CCPA/CPRA in California, and comparable laws elsewhere — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because we do not hold accounts or store your calculator inputs, we usually hold no personal data about you to act on. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it.
